Aliya Laregel - עֲלִיָּה לָרֶגֶל

In the Bible times, aliya laregel was when the Jewish people came on the pilgrimage to Jerusalem during the three major holidays - Passover, Succot, Shavuot.

Nowadays, the word is used in Israel in various ways. For instance - "I never miss my monthly "aliya laregel" to my favorite shawarma joint in Jerusalem.
