Hippus- חִפּוּשׂ

A night before Passover, if you enter the home of a Jewish family you might find something strange going on. All the lights are off and everyone in the family is searching the house with a candle or flashlight looking for the last bits of hametz (leavened bread) to burn before Passover begins.
