Literal translation: Blood of the Maccabees, Red Everlasting
Since the establishment of the State of Israel, the national memorial flower has been the Dam Hamaccabim. The flower is depicted in many memorial sites and you will see Israelis wearing stickers with the image of the flower on shirts and jackets throughout Yom HaZikaron.
