Galabiya - גָּלַבִּיָּה
Pronunciation: Ga·la·bi·ya
Literal translation: Cloak, robe
A galabiya is a traditional long cloak, worn by men or women in Arab countries. As you know, Israel is home to many Arab communities and cultures, so obviously you can run into people wearing a galabiya anywhere in the country.
Ok, the word's origin might be from Arabic, but so are a lot of Hebrew words, so don't worry about it.
