#Pakal_Kafe: Ein Mokesh

Here's an interesting fact about Israelis - They like to take a #Pakal_Kafe with them on hikes in nature, or when they visit their nearby ma'ayan (spring). (or sometimes use them at home!)

Why do you ask? Well, simply because there is nothing more Israeli than enjoying the outdoors with a nice steaming glass of fresh coffee (*Don't worry, there is always emergency tea for the non-coffee drinkers).

>>> So we @iKonnect decided to hop on this trend!

The story

Ein Mokesh is one of the most popular natural pools in Israel, especially in the north. It is situated near the old abandoned Circassian village of Ein Ziwan, in the Golan Heights.

Ein Mokesh received its name (mokesh - Hebrew for mine) from the many minefields that surround it. Only in 2011 did the IDF clear a safe passageway to the spring.

What to expect?

The pool is quite large, 10 meters in diameter, leaving plenty of room to swim around, and it is pretty deep as well. Don't forget to bring a #pakal_kafe to enjoy while you're there.

The lookout spot is situated right near the Technion, one of the most famous schools in Israel, home to many of our country's great minds. From the lookout, you will have an amazing view of the western and northern parts of Haifa and a clear view of the sea. A great spot for a #pakal_kafe of course.
