#Pakal_Kafe: Ein Shoko
Here's an interesting fact about Israelis - They like to take a #Pakal_Kafe with them on hikes in nature, or when they visit their nearby ma'ayan (spring). (or sometimes use them at home!)
Why do you ask? Well, simply because there is nothing more Israeli than enjoying the outdoors with a nice steaming glass of fresh coffee (*Don't worry, there is always emergency tea for the non-coffee drinkers).

The story
Ein Shoko is a natural spring, right near the Kibbutz, Mevo Hama, in the Golan Heights. The maayan received its name in commemoration of fallen IDF soldier Matan Gadri, whose nickname was Shoko. The water from the spring fills up a small pool, where you can go in for a refreshing dip.
What to expect?
In the area, you will find picnic tables and plenty of shady places to have a picnic or a pakal kafe. From the maayan, you will have a view of the Kinneret and the whole Galil. There are also plaques telling the story of Matan Shoko Gadri.

Directions!
Head into Mevo Khana - put this location into your Google Maps [or write in Waze] "עין שוקו". Once you park (and obviously take a panoramic photo of the view), you start your ~20 min walk to the spring. You will pass a gate and when you will reach another gate that says "Private" you will turn left with the sign and walk on. You will see an old guard "hut" and you will continue for what seems like the longest time in the sun until you will see written on a rock "Ein Shoko". From there it is super close, just follow the sounds of flowing water.
