#Pakal_Kafe: Yehudai Lookout Point

Here's an interesting fact about Israelis - They like to take a #Pakal_Kafe with them on hikes in nature, or when they visit their nearby ma'ayan (spring). (or sometimes use them at home!)

Why do you ask? Well, simply because there is nothing more Israeli than enjoying the outdoors with a nice steaming glass of fresh coffee (*Don't worry, there is always emergency tea for the non-coffee drinkers).

>>> So we @iKonnect decided to hop on this trend!

The story

Mount Scopus is one of the highest points in Jerusalem; from there you can get a clear view of the city and some of the ways that lead to it. That is why it was always a key strategic spot for the city's conquerors throughout history, and is also how the mountain got its name.

The Yehudai Lookout Point is located on the hilltop, just south of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. It was built in commemoration of Josef Yehudai, a police officer that died of a sudden heart attack at the age of 42 while serving as the Commander of the Jerusalem Area.

What to expect?

From this breathtaking lookout spot, you will be able to get a clear view of the Old City of Jerusalem, the Mount of Olives, the Temple Mount, and all the way towards the Judean Desert. On a clear day, you will be able to see all the way to the city of Jericho.
