#Pakal_Kafe: Ein Aya
Here's an interesting fact about Israelis - They like to take a pakal kafe with them on hikes in nature, or when they visit their nearby ma'ayan (spring). (or sometimes use them at home!)
Why? Do you ask? Well, simply because there is nothing more Israeli than enjoying the outdoors with a nice steaming glass of fresh coffee (*Don't worry, there is always emergency tea for the non-coffee drinkers).
The story
Ein Aya is a natural spring in the Golan Heights that overlooks the Israeli-Syrian-Jordanian border. The maayan was named after fallen IDF soldier Eylon Yaacov Horwitz, who was killed in a training accident in 2004. The pool, originally built by the Syrians, was rebuilt and cleaned by Eylon's friends.

Directions
The path to this spot is well marked, making it easy to find. There will be a turn-off of Road 98 where you will see a sign pointing to "Ein Aya". You will drive over a metal grate that is there to ensure that the cows won't enter. You will continue along the road until you reach a big area where you can park your car. Walk 2 minutes up to the pool. You won't be disappointed!
