Cookie Goddess

American-style frozen cookie dough rolls.

The simplest things in life usually bring the biggest smiles.

For Elyse Shahar, the founder, and owner of Cookie Goddess, delicious cookie dough is that simple thing.

Cookie Goddess makes American-style frozen cookie dough rolls for those dreaming of easy and fresh cookies out of the oven in minutes!

Elyse Shahar, owner of the Cookie Goodness, preparing cookie dough in her kitchen

A native Californian from Santa Clara, Elyse found herself falling in love with Israel way back in 1997, and decided to finally tie the knot with her beloved country (and Israeli husband) 15 years ago, settling into life here as an Israeli. Today, Elyse lives in Pardes Chana with her husband and two children.

Elyse’s niche business actually began about 10 years ago, on the side of her work as a full-time mother, as she began to feel that itch to create again. As someone who’s always cherished the comforts and luxuries of the “American lifestyle”, frozen cookie dough was a must in her own home, her freezer always in stock for her own family and friends. And so, when it came time to share her skills with the world, Elyse knew exactly how to bring that “American home” to the Israeli market. She wanted something simple and delicious, a sweet snack that was easy for the whole family to make!

And what is more comforting and nostalgic than the sweet and chewy flavors of American cookies?

"I saw that the Israeli market had nothing close to the quick and easy brilliance of prepackaged, delectable cookie dough, and decided to make it my own!"

Now, you no longer have to go through the hard work of making the cookie batter in order to have the smell of warm cookies wafting through your home. And if you’re looking for an afternoon snack for one, just cut off a sliver, bake it, and save the rest for later! Each sleeve of cookie dough stays fresh for six months in the freezer.

Which nostalgic and delicious flavors of cookie dough do Cookie Goddess whip up?

Whether you like to stick with the classics of chocolate chip and sugar cookie, or are a bit more adventurous and want some red velvet or mint chocolate chip, Elyse has the perfect cookie dough for you.

CURRENT FLAVORS: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Sugar Cookie, Snickerdoodle, Triple Chocolate Chip, Red Velvet, Salty Caramel Chocolate Chip & Double Chocolate Mint Chip.

If you can’t choose just one flavor (because can we ever just choose one?), Elyse has you covered! Order the special sampler roll, a cookie dough roll of three flavors: chocolate chip, red velvet, and triple chocolate chip.

And for those lazy days when waiting those 10 minutes for the oven even feels too long, have some of Cookie Goddess’s Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough waiting for you in the fridge, ready to go. Just grab a spoon, and dig in!

As Elyse likes to say,

“Anything is possible with cookie dough.”

And with Cookie Goddess, it is. Elyse is able to accommodate most dietary needs, and can make gluten-free, vegan, sugar-free, non-dairy, or dairy! Special orders are encouraged and give Elyse a chance to develop and create new unique doughs. She recently just came out with a low-carb, low-sugar chocolate chip cookie for a pregnant woman with gestational diabetes. Everyone deserves a cookie!

Her cookies are kosher and currently being delivered in and around Israel’s northern region and the country’s center (Tel Aviv and surrounding areas).

Fun Fact about Cookie Goddess

Elyse’s business has actually turned into a family one of sorts. Her daughter runs the Instagram page for Cookie Goddess, and her son has begun doing deliveries around the community, proving the true power of some good cookies in bringing us together!
