How to "sponga" like an Israeli
With Pesach just around the corner, we thought it was about time to teach you how to clean like a true Israeli - WITH A SPONGA!!
Have you ever seen an Israeli “sweep” out all of the water from their homes? It definitely isn’t with a broom, and it doesn’t look like a mop. What is that thing?
Meet the sponga, Israel’s most loved and popular cleaning method. The sponga is a cross between a mop and broom, leaving behind the cleanest and most sparkly floors!
Get a bucket, get some floor cleaner, and some water. Sprinkle the soapy water all over the floors, and let it settle a bit. Then, sponga away!! Start with one corner, and work your way around the room, collecting the dirty water as you go. If you can, bring the water outside or down the drain, and voila - you now have a sparkly clean floor! This should make Pesach cleaning a whole lot easier.
Just don’t forget to let it dry before you walk all over it again!
