Oznayim Lakotel - אָזְנַיִם לַכֹּתֶל

Pronunciation: Oz·na·yim la·ko·tel

Literal translation: Ears to the wall



If someone tells you to watch out because there are oznayim lakotel, they are telling you to watch what you say, because someone can be listening.

This Hebrew phrase is especially relevant to these days, prior to Yom Kippur, because it is used to hint that God is always listening, so you should watch what you say and ask for forgiveness, when necessary.
