Chana Marelus

This religious bridal designer immigrated to Israel from Belgium when she was only 12-years-old and has made a huge splash with her modest yet delicately couture gowns. Chana impressively began her design career at the young age of 16 with the help of her mother, who filled their home with fashion magazines from a young age! Her work has joined the ranks of international designers and her gowns have been worn by celebrities all over the world. Her modest dresses balance the refinement of European couture with the whimsical playfulness of Israeli design!

Mira Zwillinger

Lihi and Mira Zwillinger run the Mira Zwillinger brand from their studio in Tel Aviv. What began with Mira Zwillinger as a couture studio has now grown into an international bridal brand run by Mira along with her daughter Lihi. Their gowns incorporate cutting-edge design and engineering, the highest quality fabrics, and unique elegance. Even better? Their whole studio is run by an all-female staff, where each and every gown is handmade to order. The MZ technique includes taking specific measurements for each bride, making sure that even when ordered internationally, each dress comes out totally perfect.

Michal Negrin

Michal Negrin started selling jewelry in Tel Aviv’s artists’ market in 1988 and has since created an empire that has grown far larger than just her jewelry. Today, she and her husband are the owners of jewelry, fashion, and interior design company with 60 stores in Israel and abroad, including the US, France, Japan, and Italy. The best part? All of their products are designed, manufactured, and developed in her Bat Yam factory in Israel, where they employ over 250 Israelis!

Elie Tahari

After emigrating from Israel in 1971 with less than $100, and working as an electrician at a clothing boutique in New York’s Garment District, Iranian-Israeli fashion designer Elie Tahari blew up the fashion scene in the 1970s with the design of his own clothing line. He has since grown into an international brand sold all over the world. Elie has also appeared as a guest judge on America’s popular television show, Project Runway! So cool!
